The COB Women’s Ministry is designed to encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen intimate friendships with other women, and to provide opportunities to serve and reach our community and other communities throughout the world for Christ.
Our mission is to teach, encourage and minister to women of all ages and stages of life. We strive to help women rediscover joy, contentment, and value in being “Keepers of The Home.” Our ministry is based on Titus 2:3-5, which encourages the older women to nurture the next generation of women.
Ultimately we feel that it is important for all women – from singles to wives, to seniors – to find a place of comfort among the COB family. A few friendly moments of contact from someone will help our women feel the bond of love that is such a vital part of Community of Believers.
For 2015 the Women of COB are focused on learning how to become Kingdom Women through the study of Dr. Tony Evans and Chrystal Evans Hurst’s devotional series “A Kingdom Woman”. On April 17th,we will wrap up the series with a panel discussion. Please refer to our upcoming events tab for more information on this and other Women’s Ministry events throughout the year.
